Opal Foods is an active member in and supporter of the local communities where we operate. In addition to donating dozens of cases of eggs to churches, schools and shelters each month, Opal is proud to partner with organizations such as Future Farmers of America (FFA), youth and adult athletic programs and education programs. Opal is also a member of the Neosho Chamber of Commerce.

Future Farmers of America

Learning to do. Doing to learn. Earning to live. Living to serve.

Opal Foods is proud to sponsor Neosho FFA. This local chapter is very active in the community with activities such as landscaping the downtown area and giving time at Hope Kitchen.

Education

Eggs serve as a healthy and nutritious source of protein and vitamins. We believe learning how to cook eggs is an essential part of a robust diet. Opal foods considers education to be one of the foundations of an individual's growth and is proud to donate for student cooking, egg drops, and teacher recognition.

Ozarks Food Harvest: The Food Bank

Opal Foods has an annual tradition of donating to southwest Missouri’s Feeding America food bank, Ozarks Food Harvest, which serves 270 hunger-relief organizations across 28 Ozarks counties.

Since 2008, Opal Foods has donated over 4 million eggs to the award-winning food bank in Springfield, MO.

Neosho Easter Eggstravaganza

Every year, the nonprofit organization hosts an egg hunt at Morse Park North with prizes, bouncy houses, hot dogs, snow cones and much more. Opal Foods is happy to be a consistent contributor to this annual tradition.

The Neosho Easter Eggstravaganza is in its 7th year, and is completely volunteer-based and community supported.
